Description

We are currently recruiting for a senior business assistant to join an established financial services company on a contractual basis. Our client is a key player in payment transactions worldwide and in partnership with multiple global entities. This role will encompass supporting day-to-day department operations such as scheduling, reporting and maintaining department records. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated senior business assistant to gain further experience and knowledge.

Key skills:

  • Extensive administrative experience in a corporate environment interfacing with executive level management, senior customers
  • Strong working knowledge of department budgets
  • Strong working knowledge of desk top computer software
  • Exposure to Ariba, Oracle is ideal but not essential
  • A-level education (university degree is advantageous)

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare correspondence; memoranda; reports; presentations or other assigned documentation in specified software package Manage Ariba system entry and Oracle invoice management for 3rd party work.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining departmental budget
  • Administer programs; projects or processes specific to the operating unit served; and maintains spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information
  • May research special topics as assigned
  • Telephone coverage, scheduling of meetings, travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, copying, ordering supplies
  • Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company
  • Provide cover for Departmental EA on ad Hoc basis ie Holiday cover
