Process Safety Engineer
A Process Safety Engineer is required to work on a 2 month contract with the possibility for extension with our Defence client based in Washington, Tyne and Wear
This is a fast paced role with workload and activities changing on a daily basis, the role involves working as part of a team as well as being able to manage own workload and work on own initiative to manage personal projects.
Overview of the Process Safety Engineer role
The role of Process Safety Engineer is a varied role with responsibilities for Safety, health, Environment and Energy management on-site. Main responsibilities are to support the site to ensure a safe working environment for all employees along with protection of the environment. Responsible for the co-ordination and management of the Safety, health, Environment and Energy management systems on site which will involve some auditing and inspection.
Key skills required for the Process Safety Engineer
- Management of the site safety, health, environmental and energy management systems
- Internal audit co-ordination and completion
- Safety, health, environmental and energy statistics and KPIs
- Energy management representative
- Claims/litigation management co-ordination for the site
