Senior UX Designer (long term contract)
I need a Senior UX designer to run top cover across a User Experience Design team. You must have exceptional communication and presentation skills so that you can communicate across a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external.
Experience Required
Proven ability and supporting experience of successfully planning, developing and managing a portfolio of major programmes/projects within a large complex programme environment and across organisational boundaries involving multi-disciplinary teams.
Demonstrable experience of strategic policy development and implementation of IT
To engender a channel shift away from traditional methods to an online channel wherever possible significantly contributing to efficiencies
Knowledge & skills:
In-depth professional knowledge in a number of disciplines eg financial management, performance management, information systems, staff management acquired through training and experience over an extended period.
Knowledge of the political and cultural aspects of delivering change across complex organisations.
Detailed understanding of the Health and Social Care IT sector and its supporting IT strategies.
Detailed knowledge of procurement frameworks within the public sector.
In depth understanding of the health strategy and policy at a national and local level and ability to plan to take account of these strategies.
A deep and broad understanding of the culture and climate of the wider health and social care environment.
Educated to Masters level or equivalent qualification/delivery experience.
Recognised qualification in programme methodology at practitioner level, eg Managing Successful Programmes, or equivalent experience in programme management.
Recognised management qualification or equivalent experience.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Initially a 6 month contract, deadline for submissions is Wednesday 14th July, with a start date ASAP.
