Description

Harvey Nash is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist for a 6 month contract based in Glasgow. This role itself will involve various procurement activities which will result in you providing an efficient commercial service.

The role will involve:

* Leading, planning and implementing procurement strategies

* Supplier & contract management

* Stakeholder management

* Working on national tenders

The specialist will support the development of complex specifications and EU procurement projects, including leading tender evaluation of complex requirements. The position will also require an understanding of the role of contract management and working closely with customers to manage contracts and ensure delivery of value for money. This role will require the development of a procurement strategy and identification of the customer's needs, as well as leading procurement's contribution to stakeholder engagement. This role would be well suited to a Procurement Specialist with experience in the public sector and requires supporting, planning and leading significant projects.

The skills required are:

* Collaborative Procurement

* Excellent leadership & stakeholder management skills

* Procurement Negotiations

* Knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process
