Specific project to audit, research and make recommendations for the clients calendar of events, celebrations and PR moments. The recommendations will support the development and implementation of a calendar to promote and celebrate apprenticeships as part of the clients communications strategy to external employers, citizens and stakeholders.

Key Deliverables

Develop and deliver a comprehensive final report and strategy for consultation by the client for future developments of a calendar of events, celebrations and PR moments. The clients calendar of events, celebrations and PR moments exists to promote apprenticeships to a wider audience of candidates, employer, parents and influencers. The final output of a new revised calendar of celebration would be an increase in applications from candidates, an increase in employers offering apprenticeship vacancies and an increase in the prestige and quality of apprenticeships.

Skills

    • a candidate with events/communications planning credentials. The ability to develop fresh initiatives and creative campaigns backed up by robust research and planning will be essential in this role.
    • Demonstrable experience working on eye-catching and award-winning campaigns/events programmes
    • Proven experience of working in strategic communications related roles planning multi-faceted campaigns and events
    • Qualified in Project Management, Marketing, Communications or similar
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
