Internal Communications Manager: Downstream Chemicals: World Leading Oil & Gas Co

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Manager to join this dynamic Downstream Chemicals team

About the Role:

  • Develop a strong knowledge of the organisation, Downstream and Chemicals business priorities, challenges and narratives
  • Establish a strong business partnering position and build collaborative relationships regarding the delivery of internal communications for the business.
  • Drive and develops internal communications strategies and plans for Chemicals
  • Apply a consultancy approach and uses fit-for-purpose resources from the relevant practice areas to execute plans and deliver internal communications products and services.
  • Build a strong relationship with the Leadership Team; demonstrates deep knowledge and affinity for their business priorities.
  • Advise and coach business leaders (to become more effective at employee engagement and dialogue)
  • Work in partnership with External Relations colleagues to deliver internal communications results seamlessly, especially in relation to site communications.
  • Ensure message consistency, alignment and relevant translation across Manufacturing.

About You:

  • A senior communications professional with 8-10 years+ experience
  • Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Understanding of Oil & Gas would be preferable but not essential

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
