Description
My client are a large consultancy that are looking for Supplier development engineers to work on site with a tier 1 automotive client.
The role will consist of working within the logistics and supply chain function and implementing operating standards with suppliers. The successful candidate must be able to build strong relationships and work with suppliers to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Must have experience with facilitating improvements, process improvements and supply chain improvements
- Identifying gaps within supply chain and generating improvements
- Supply chain and logistics
- VSM - Value stream mapping would be a desirable skill in order to help stand up suppliers
- Stakeholder management is key
- Industry experience: Automotive, manufacturing.
