Category Manager/Procurement Manager - Professional Services/HR/Legal

We are currently seeking an interim Category Manager/Procurement Manager for a leading organisation in Cambridge City Centre to work on a 6 month contract basis.

The interim Category Manager will work within the Corporate Services area of a leading organisation to assist with day to day category management and execution of sourcing plans. Their responsibilities will include

The candidate will hold commercial experience and background in procurement, preferably in multi-site, multi-region organisations. They will have a track record of delivery in this type of role, across Corporate categories and sub-categories such as; Professional and Consulting Services, People/HR and Legal. Any experience of Technology or Marketing would be advantageous.

The role requires high level analytical, verbal and written presentation skills. The candidate will have experience of change management and will be self motivated, with the ability to use their own initiative, be organised and be a flexible thinker. They will have sound interpersonal and communication skills with strong ability using Excel.
