A huge aviation client is looking to employ a contractor for at least 12 months for an Information Architect position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Profile:
The role will design, develop and govern the solution architecture of the Group in alignment with corporate business and IT strategies, ensuring appropriate balance between functional, service quality and systems management requirements. This necessitates engagement at the strategic enterprise level while also taking full responsibility for the solution architectures implemented by individual projects and programmes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Qualifications:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
Experience:
- 8+ years' experience in Information & Analytics Technologies
- Demonstrable experience in Establishing and maintaining an Enterprise Information Repository
- Extensive experience in analytics/BI system architectures and design including technical leadership
- Advanced skills in design of BI solutions and Data Models
- Knowledge of data flow and modelling best practise
- Bridging the gap between Functional and Technical teams
- Experience in architecting and maintaining EIA systems and technologies such as:
MicroStrategy 10x Enterprise Analytics technologies and platform
MSTR 10x BI and Mobile platforms
Major vendor big data & enterprise analytics information platforms
Knowledge/Skills:
- Demonstrable experience of which at least three years should be at a senior level related to Information & Analytics architecture.
- Experience in large corporate and multi-cultural environments would be advantageous.
- Enterprise level Business Intelligence EIA Platforms
- Business Information Architectures
- Systems EIA Architecture, strategy & planning and standards
- Emerging EIA technologies
