A Top Tier Investment Bank are recruiting for a Risk and Control Manager to be responsible for implementing and executing governance routines to ensure effective communication and engagement with all parties within the Bank.
The bank is looking for a hands-on Risk and Control Manager who will be working on two frameworks within Security and Internal Control, with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities/Experience
- Working knowledge of control, regulatory and risk issues and demonstrated practical application of this.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the operations, risk management, finance and product control activities relevant to their role.
- Ability to foresee and anticipate issues
- Deliver accurate reports aligned with these frameworks
- Effective engagement and communication of issues, challenges and concerns that may arise
- Track record of success/high performance in a large, Matrix organisation.
- Evidence of driving change/leading business initiatives/contributing to team and strategy.
- Financial services industry knowledge and knowledge about new and emerging financial products and services.
- Understanding of the business and commercial environment in global jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, & influencing skills.
- Excellent organisational ability.
