An experienced Commercial Performance Analyst ( Excel/Commercial/Marketing ) is required to join a prestigious Travel & Leisure clients based in Newcastle Upon Tyne on an initial 3-month contract.

As an experienced Commercial Performance Analyst ( Excel/Commercial/Marketing ) you will spend your days inside the maths, stats and business performance to provide performance insight.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver specific commercial analysis and insight into business performance
  • Work with a wider performance management and analysis team and in a pro-active, commercially astute manner
  • Explore and analyse data, extracting valuable insights to enable informed decision making
  • Build strong relationships and credibility with relevant stakeholders
  • Drive the development of appropriate management and business performance information
  • Develop and maintain, analytical models, 'ROI' and performance management benchmarks to work with wider commercial, financial and operational teams to improve business performance
  • Create and apply insight to help determine performance measures & levers for commercial decisions
  • Work with sales, marketing, promotional and campaign teams to assist in the definition and delivery of integrated promotional and marketing campaigns. Assist In analysing the successes of each campaign, providing evidence-based ROI reporting to support future campaign approaches
  • Establish relationships across the business, specifically: Market Insights, Products & Innovation, Sales and Marketing
  • Ability to influence, challenge and learn from colleagues at all levels

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in ROI modelling, pricing management, implementation, and support
  • Proven track record in supporting products, marketing, commercial and sales teams
  • First class Excel and numeracy skills
  • Able to break down complex 'value' challenges to define the best solution
  • Able to work cross-functionally with different business teams and influence key stakeholders
