Currently recruiting for a GDPR Protection Manager to work on a number on GDPR projects with expert knowledge of data protection law and practises.
To be based in Birmingham for 6 months with the possibility of extensions. £Highly competitive market rates for the right levels of experience.
* Expert knowledge of data protection law and practices, which will be used to support/guide the GDPR project team through the GDPR project.
Through this role you will be responsible for:
* Educating the company employees on importance compliance requirements
* Training staff involved in data processing
* Conducting audits to ensure compliance and address potential issues proactively
* Serving as the point of contact between the company and GDPR SA
* Monitoring performance and providing advice on the impact of data protection efforts
* Maintaining comprehensive records of all data processing activates conducted by the business, including the purpose of all the processing activities which must be made public on request
* Interfacing with the data subjects to inform them about how their data is being used, their rights to have their own personal data erased and what measures the business have put in place to protect their personal information.
