Job Title: Resource Manager

Job type: Contract

Location: Bracknell

Day Rate: c£300.00

Contract Length: 3 months minimum

My Client one of the worlds finest Application Monitoring companies is looking for a contract resource manager to join their busy office in Bracknell.

To be a successful Resource Manager for Customer Success , you must have 5+ years of related resource management experience within a large, global services organisation or pure-play professional services company.

Additionally, you should have:

Experience problem solving with multiple stakeholders

Strong negotiation and mediation skills

Expert level PSA tool experience

Intermediate level SalesForce skills (or other resourcing / PM tool) including reporting, dashboards, cross referencing, and opportunity management. SalesForce / FinancialForce experience preferred.

3+ years of project experience and strong knowledge of project management methodology.

Demonstrated ability to execute on multiple projects in demanding timelines.

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and growing environment.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Educated to Bachelor / Master Degree level preferred

About the Role

As a Resource Manager, you will be responsible for providing resource allocation on billable projects to ensure optimal utilisation.

Other responsibilities include:

Supporting and adhering to the approved resourcing processes.

Maintaining an accurate list in PSA system of all available staff; working closely with management to ensure data is accurate

Reviewing PSA list of open resource requests for detail accuracy; following agreed processes to fulfill requests per local operational-level agreements

Work with Project Management Office (PMO) to understand near-term and strategic resourcing demands

Proactively driving utilisation by negotiating project schedules, sharing plans, and using other creative staffing techniques

Working with partners / partner resources; ensuring all contractor POs are in place, including renewals, before project work commences

Ensuring all approvals/visas and process is followed for global resourcing.

Build winning stories around successful resource fulfilment requests to demonstrate value and influence future staffing decisions.
