Technical Resources are currently recruiting for the following position:

Field Service Engineers X9

Location: Sussex
Start Date:
Duration: 6 months
RATE: £180-£200 per day (8 hour days)

What will you be doing?
My client is looking for 9 Field Service Engineers to provide expert emergency, maintenance, testing, engineering, programming, designing, and start-up technical support across a variety of electrical an/or mechanical equipment. You will be providing M&E building services, we need all-rounders with excellent site based maintenance skills. You will be providing electrical and mechanical maintenance, for reactive and break fix type calls in a public sector/campus environment. We are looking for great team players, we are building a team of different levels to blend skill sets.

Key Role Tasks:
- Service and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment (as per trade expertise).
- Prepare shop drawings and application projects.
- Supervision of field installation, cabling.
- Determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation.
- Carry out design works, programming of HVAC controllers, Fire Panels, Access Control Panels.
- Install EBI, prepare graphics and necessary programming works as per specifications.
- Be ready on the job site during temporary or final acceptance of SLJs.
- Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed.
- Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by team leader.
- Follow quality systems while delivering the periodic maintenance services as well as the execution of spot services and SLJs.
- Achievement, measurement and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives.

Must Haves:
- Minimum Associates degree or technical trade school diploma; four year degree in engineering or programming preferred.
- Experience servicing HVAC, Fire, Security or access entry and alarm systems.
- Industry based advanced programming skills
- Strong fault finding skills
- Excellent product knowledge
- Valid drivers licence and access to private transportation required.

- Ability to interact and build relationships with customers.
- Ability to acquire and demonstrate trade skills and/or product knowledge to meet the requirements of the role.
- Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of industry products to develop solutions that meet customer's requirements.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision and direct contractors or other service technicians.
- Good communication both written and verbal.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Strong commitment to safety and safe working environment.
