Senior Purchasing Analyst
Our popular Atlanta based client is growing and looking for a Senior Purchasing Analyst to join their expanding purchasing team! This is a 6 month contract with the possibility to extend to a long-term contract. Conveniently located in the Perimeter area, this position offers the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas!
The Purchasing Analyst will be responsible for developing relationships with internal customers, support sourcing efforts, purchasing, and supplier payment processing. As a whole, you will be a part of RFP/Q, vendor selection processes, submissions for sourcing assistance (SRFs) all the way through final payment and processing needed by the customers. You will also be involved in the management of the Vendor Management System (hourly and SOW) for suppliers, partnering with finance teams for cost, supplier efficiency, and creating models to ensure suppliers meet performance. Training will be provided for the specific sourcing request process used for contracts and other sourcing efforts.

Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience creating purchase orders and negotiating with suppliers as needed
- Experience working with Accounts Payable
- Negotiation experience for cost reductions, RFP/Q, and/or purchasing related contracts
- Experience analysing spend, supplier and program effectiveness
- Excellent communication, ability to multi-task and ability to follow a process through to completion
- Bachelor's Degree required
