Our global client, based in London, are seeking an experienced Vendor Assessment Analyst (IT Security) to join them on a contract basis. The Analyst will be providing support the International 3rd Party compliance, and act as an assessor for international vendors.Reporting into the CISO, the Analyst will be accountable for ensuring that 3rd Party suppliers and vendors are fully compliant, and also ensure a risk based approach to IT Security is adopted across International lines of business.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the International 3rd Party Compliance Process, and act as an assessor for international vendors
- Understand the bespoke Vendor Management tool and process
- To support and advise projects and business teams on the Int. Security Vendor process
- Ensure that a risk-based approach to IT Security is adopted across International teams
- Assist the CISO in internal development, technical operations and Global Corporate Security teams
- Manage the process of 3rd Party Management with Buisness input
- Support IT Security Strategy
- Mentor junior team members, technically and professionally
Skills, Experience & Professional Qualifications
- Degree of equivalent experience in IT Security (CISA, CISA, CISSP etc...)
- Extensive experience in an IT Security / IT Security Audit environment
- 2+ years' experience in an IT Audit function
- Experience in supporting Security Testing services
- Can conduct Risk Assessments using best practice Risk Management practices
- Experience in Security assessments / audit analysis
- Experience of evaluating 3rd Party Security solutions - infrastructure, controls, applications
- Use of Microsoft tools (Visio, Excel, Audit tools)
- Experience of conducting 3rd Party Assessments and Compliance checks
