Senior Systems Engineer - Certification, Qualification, Design Proving.
A Senior Systems Engineer with is required to work on a six month contract (with possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Lancashire.
This is an interesting opportunity working on a Military Aircraft Program.
Overview of the Senior Systems Engineer contract role
A Senior Systems Engineer role has arisen within a military aircraft program for Avionic sub-system teams, this role will involve performing various tasks as detailed below. The role requires a senior engineer with an in depth specialist knowledge of the architecture along with considerable generic systems engineering skills.
Key skills required for the Senior Systems Engineer
-System Certification (Qualification, Design Proving, etc.)
-The production, review and update of Specifications
-The production, review and update of Interface Control Documents
-The production, review and update of Engineering Design Requirements Documents
-The review of aircraft drawings in line with changes introduced to the aircraft
-Supplier management activities
-Production of test documentation in support of rig and aircraft trial activities
-Support Lifecycle and design reviews.
-Assessment and analysis followed by correction of hardware problems
The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds
