WA Consultants are recruiting for a Project Engineer to work on a long term contract position for one of our large automotive clients.
Position Description:
"The Architecture team agrees, maintains and delivers the Commodity whole life plan and the commonality and complexity across the architecture. The purpose of this role is to pioneer, develop and manage, by creating new process's to enable standardisation and commonality across the commodity groups, on the Architecture. The individual will be required to act as a leader and coach to apply consistent processes across the Module Teams, to maintain and control the complexity, commonality, and variety on MLA. "

People Skills - able to communicate effectively and collaborate in your approach integrating with wider teams and personnel throughout the business.
Resilient and enthusiastic self-starter, an individual able to deliver results under pressure, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.
Analytical Skills - able to analyse problems, develop and test solutions, and process data against a criteria efficiently, with well-developed Microsoft excel.
Experience Required:
"Experience with product life cycle management. Ability to plan, organise and multitask. Good written and verbal communication skills. - Degree or relevant equivalent experience (preferred)."
Experience Preferred:
"Prior knowledge of Commonality Management within industry. Experience of Core Engineering, strong project management skills. Ability to plan, organise and multitask. Good written and verbal communication skills. A good working knowledge of Engineering, FORD GPDS or equivalent, Change Management processes and sourcing processes. Degree or relevant equivalent experience. "
