Finance Assistant - DePuy Synthes/Leeds/12 Months Contract/11 to 15 GBP (Per Hour)

Position Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Banking

  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Bank administration
  • Daily bank download

Receipting of Services

  • Daily receipting of services
  • Dealing with queries by phone and email
  • Management of supporting evidence
  • GRNI maintenance and review

Masterfile Maintenance

  • Masterfile maintenance - new vendor, new customer
  • Address book maintenance - employees
  • Address book - additions, change requests
  • Ensuring compliant for Sarbanes Oxley at all times

Month End

  • Business Partnering for SG&A functions
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Journal postings

Other Duties

  • Vehicle administration

Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Needs to be able to manage a number of different tasks at the same time.
  • Some experience of working in a finance/accounting environment.
  • Experience on a computerised accounting system ideally JD Edwards OneWorld
  • Excellent computer skills - excel, word, Powerpoint etc
