*EMEA GCP Trade Management Analyst, Tier 1 Investment Bank, London- 12 months*

My client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank requires a competent GCP Trade Management Analyst to join their The Credit Trade Management Group, in London. We are looking for an Analyst level Trade Management hire that will work closely with the trading/sales desks to facilitate the smooth running of the Credit business. This role is a high-profile position based on the trading floor providing control and support to the Credit Traders and Salespeople. The role consists of daily trade management and controls, exception management, and PnL generation responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Trade capture/validation of a number of financial instruments including Loans, Warrants, Equities and CDS.
  • Management and facilitation of all trade life cycle events - Loan Restructures, Corporate actions eg PIKs, Redemptions
  • Generation and reporting of trading risk/PnL to validate daily trading activity across different trading platforms.
  • Setting up new products and extending existing client relationship to include new products traded
  • Ownership, investigation and resolution of exceptions/fails/breaks; working closely with settlements to reduce the number of aged fails and reconcile any historic breaks
  • Liaison with various business partners across the bank including Loan closers, SRM, Loan Operations and Settlements
  • Involvement in building TM controls for the business and working closely with the COOs to ensure new processes are agreed and adhered to.
  • Regular collation and analysis of data for Management Reporting

Essential

  • Solid understanding of the Secondary Loans Trading Business
  • Experienced in trade support and trade management/Middle Office processes
  • Solid understanding of Credit Derivative markets
  • Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a highly pressured environment
  • Solid team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates pro activity, is able to problem solve and adapt to change
  • Ability to multi-task, work to intraday deadlines and accommodate varying levels of volume is essential
  • Strong attention to detail with a desire to question/improve processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience of direct and regular working relationships with Front Office personnel
