Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is recruiting for a Senior Engineer on an initial 12 week contract, with a high likelihood of extension. Reporting into the Team Leader, you will be responsible for undertaking feasibility studies, design, contract preparation, contract supervision and project management of civil engineering projects up to multi-million pound in size. You will be project managing a number of civil engineering projects up to multi million pound value, including supervising team members.

* Project management including design, contractual and financial control
* Highway design and construction
* Traffic and transportation engineering concepts
* Engineering contract documentation
* Land/topographical surveying
* Design and site safety
* Producing estimates and checking valuations
* Works and services procurement
* CAD applications
