Role: Downstream Process EngineerClient: Leading biopharmaceutical organisation
Location: Central Germany
Start Date: August 2017 (Min. 4 days per week)
Duration: Until EoY, with further extension until end of 2019

The Site & Project
- The new facility will allow my client to produce proteins currently manufactured at another plant.
- Reporting to: Head of Plant Engineering.
- Experience within biopharmaceutical environment, if not then at least GMP environment.
- Experience as Process Lead/Process Engineer (Downstream).
- Must have the technical ability and managerial skills.
- Languages: German (Must).
- Education/Background: Engineering/Process & Design.
- In Detailed Design phase;
- Responsibility on client side for the work package Downstream Process' to the engineering office.
- Control of interface between the downstream packages and media & buffer.
- Control of interface between the downstream packages and utilities (clean/CIP/black).
- Control of interface between the downstream packages and automation.
- Control of the engineering office for the work package Downstream Process'.
- Control of the tender process for the Downstream Process' work package.
- Control design development work package from approval of design status to approval of construction status.
- Availability for next phases construction (2018) and commissioning/qualification (2019).
- Skill: English/German (fluent).
