Description
Finance Debt Collection Specialist is required by our client in Hertfordshire.
This will be to work as part of a virtual collections team to achieve the best possible collection performance, to highlight the common causes of payment delays, to review new customer billing arrangements and to provide advice and consultancy to the sales teams about achieving best possible open debt position.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing customer specific billing processes and requirements (new customers and proactive review of existing problem customers) to identify and change processes which lead to payment delays
- Working with the financing Companies (primarily IGF) to implement new factoring arrangements. Periodic review of existing financing arrangements. Working with customers to review and implement new customer specific supply chain finance programmes
- Transitioning new processes to the SSC team
- Building relationships with Sales teams to enable early dialogue over credit problems
- Consulting into the legal team during contracting cycle
- Acting as the primary liaison to sector directors to explain open issues and positions and to direct effort/attention in the sector
- Provide in country reporting pack, including strong commentary pack to in country leadership team
- Proactively identify regular instances of late payment and aim to reduce the gap between the best possible DSO and the actual DSO
Essential:
