The Delivery Manager is accountable for the schedule and costs for the product (Antennae). They will need to co-ordinate a multi functional team (production control, manufacturing Engineering, scheduler, Ops team leader) to issue a realistic weekly schedule.

Key tasks

The delivery manager is accountable for -

Ensuring a schedule is issued and updated and in line with team expectations, work with the scheduler.

Driving activities to ensure On Time delivery.

Managing risks or issues on schedules that could impact on any major milestone or final delivery of the product.

Reporting product delivery status to the Master Scheduler.

Managing the product within the KPO against the cost base expectations.

Together with Engineering, managing the Customisation phase, ensuring all deviations to bid are captured and justified, reflecting the changes in the schedule.

Together with the team members, monitor and measure input performances - On Time delivery, Procurement, Design - and together with the managers/leaders manage impacts to MAIT where necessary.

Defining detailed weekly capacity requirement.

Priority setting of the multi MAIT Production schedules.

Drive the daily drumbeat and execution of the plan.

Having key input in daily progress meetings and SQCDP.

Essential Skills

Significant experience in an Assembly/Production environment.

Minimum 2 years management, project management or team leading experience

Experience of Lean implementation/culture, Quality, MRP, scheduling, cost management, people management and process.

Problem solving.

Health and Safety

Team leading

Green/Black Belt

Primavera experience

Clean room experience

SAP experience


Engineering degree or equivalent
