Description

I have an immediate start for a confident credit controller to join a global leading manufacturing business who specialise in creating products for the automotive and aerospace industry.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and solution orientated Credit Controller to be based in Manchester. You will be supporting the Senior Credit Controller with day to day management of the company's accounts receivable, collection of company debt and managing a customer base across the UK.

Job Responsibilities:
*Maintaining the sales ledger and subsidiary records for monthly invoicing and debtors ledger
*Allocation of cash into customer accounts upon receipt
*Setting up and reviewing credit limits by customer in order to manage credit exposure and portfolio risk
*Ensuring stakeholders are kept updated by reporting on management information and key operating statistics
*Liaising with sales personnel to discuss and review any issues arising and proposing solutions on how to minimise risk exposure
*Agree Inter-company balances at month end and reconcile any differences
*Assist in bank reconciliations and posting of cash
*Maintaining effective communications with both the Commercial and Customer Services Team regarding customer credit facilities and query resolution

About You:
*Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within a corporate credit control function
*Solid functional experience in sales ledger and accounts receivable
*Ability to manage a high volume workload and prioritize accordingly
*Excellent communication skills
*Highly driven and motivated
*Excellent attention to detail
*Good Microsoft skills

Desired Experience:
*Advanced excel skills
