The Company
Consol Partners are currently looking for a Release Manager to work for our client, a large scale IT system integrator based in Luxembourg who specialise in IT staffing solution's for the public sector. The client has had a number of successful programmes with their public sector customer which has allowed them to win further large scale projects and programmes.
The Role
The Release Manager will be integrated into a team of 12 dedicated software developers to manage the operations of the application environment of the Datacenter of a European institution.
Responsibilities:
* Planning and coordination of Release applications in different production environments
* Realise and follow up the demands for the implementation of new application environments
* Verification of the deliverables provided by the project teams
* Request disppatching via the ticketing tool
* Follow-up of the planning of the Operational team
* Advise and support project teams in the implementation of their application environments and in the release/migrations applications operations
* Ensure the updating of existing documentation
* Participation and organisation of Operational Meetings/Coordination
* Write new procedures
* Advocate optimisation solutions in a changing environment
* Realisation of daily administrative tasks
* Reporting of activities to management/client
