Project Engineer
My client, an innovative, global organisation, are looking for an experienced Project Engineer. Candidates will be experienced working with process based machinery.
Management and Execution of Projects
*Leads coordination of complex project timelines
*Negotiates and consults with plant and engineering personnel, as well as the appropriate management regarding project status, timelines, and cost
*Manages financial aspects of a project team, including estimating expenditures, contributing to the creation of funding packages, purchasing materials and/or services, monitoring and tracking costs, and payment
Intellectual Property, Regulations, and Compliance
*Protects the organisations Intellectual Property through the understanding and appropriate use of competitive technology awareness, government regulation awareness, supplier/consultant agreements, records of invention, patents, and technical notebooks
*Follows and promotes corporate business conduct, safety, health, and environmental policies and practices, including Engineering guidelines, standards, and specifications
Leadership
*Manages relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
*Provides guidance and training to other engineers
*Participates in and leads teams
*Applies working knowledge of key corporate initiatives and appropriate tools
Design, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning
*Oversees and plans complex installations, checkouts and start-ups of new and existing equipment and facilities
*Provides accurate project and equipment documentation, such as project cost, schedules, and equipment manuals
Education
*HNC/Degree Mechanical/I&C/Chemical/Electrical
Experience and Knowledge
*Working within a factory environment (industrial equipment)
*Process based machinery/operations
*Understanding/application of Machinery Regulations/Directives
*Understanding/application of PUWER
Skills, and Abilities
*Coordination, Management and execution of Projects
*Development and execution of commissioning plans for complex machinery
*Develop specifications for vendors to deliver against
*Validation writing and execution (Experience of GAMP preferred)
*Working within and managing small teams (EHS/Operations/Plant Engineering)
