Bank of America Merrill Lynch is looking for a Client services represented within trade finance to assist with a wide range of client Service tasks on a contract till the end of the year. The successful candidate will have a strong background within trade finance and client services.
The Client Servicing Team currently consists of 3 associates. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can join the existing team and perform a variety of technical and analytical functions relating to Trade finance and Client servicing ensuring we deliver a first class experience foremost to our Clients but also internal business partners.
Role:
Responsibilities will also include (once trained) monthly MIS and Client reporting to ensure we are delivering the appropriate service to current Bank and Departmental standards researching, analysing, and resolving Commercial Trade document enquiries which may require specialized, sensitive, and/or exception handling; evaluating acceptances, issuances, amendments, and negotiation for import/export, standby and government letters of credit. Requires a full working knowledge of both complex and traditional Trade finance operations and documentation.
Requirements:
- Current In-depth Trade Finance experience
- Previous experience in a Client Service Team
- A good and up to date knowledge of relevant Trade ICC publications
- A good understanding and knowledge of UCP, URDG, ISBP, ISP, AML and KYC
- Strong Customer Service skills preferably with experience managing queries from global clients.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks eg logging client contact and query details etc
