My Client based in Sunbury requires a Qlik Sense Developer.
Background
Following the establishment of Qlik Sense as the new data exploration and insights tool within the company we are currently seeking a Qlik Sense developer to support the wider deployment of the tool across all reporting areas within the HR function.
Accountabilities
- Gaining an in-depth knowledge of the data and existing data models driving current MI and reporting (covering areas such as Talent, Learning, Resourcing, Position Management)
- Leading requirements gathering from stakeholders
- Designing and building data models within Qlik Sense
- Leading testing and operationalization
- Delivering clear and detailed documentation of solutions
- Delivering knowledge transfer to team members
- Using Qlik Sense to provide agile business support, developing data models as required on an ad hoc basis
Essential Criteria
- Significant development experience in Qlik Sense
- Experience of working with a broad range of data types, ideally including HR/confidential data
- Experience of using a broad range of Qlik connectors and loading data from a range of different system types
- Building models which manage user security using the Section Access functionality
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams
- Strong stakeholder management
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills and innovative thinking
- Working to uphold standards of excellence
Desirable Criteria
- Building Qlik Sense models extracting data from SAP and Cornerstone
- Building Qlik Mash Ups (including embedding Qlik in SharePoint)
- Building Qlik Extensions
- Knowledge of HR data and systems, including SAP BW
- Project management experience
