Sub Contract Programme Manager
A Sub Contract Programme Manager with experience of Management of all sub-contract activity and deliverables on major projects is required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Portsmouth
Overview of the Sub Contract Programme Manager contract role
Duties will include the direction and management of all procurement activities associated with sub-contracts. This includes supporting contractual closedown of all sub-contract activities and managing the implementation of the procurement and sub-contract activity, including where necessary setting up and managing new sub-contract activity.
Key skills required for the
- Experience of Management of all sub - contract activity
- Management of a small procurement team
- Engage and support stakeholders and the Equipment Management Lead on activities to generate, negotiate, place and manage contracts with suppliers. Activities include agreement of scope, definition, contracting frameworks, long and short term prices and delivery schedules.
- MCIPS Qualified Ability to deliver business performance and continuous improvement.
The role is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire - commutable from Southampton, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Aldershot, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester
