Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) - Greater London - £300 per day
A highly respected international technology business is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their offices near Willesden Junction on an estimated 3 month contract.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will help to manage a small accounts team and provide much needed leadership during a busy period for the department.
As a senior member of the team, it is expected that you will be fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) and have experience of delivering on a variety of reporting and analysis tasks, ensuring that a smooth and efficient service is provided across all outstanding work.
This position would suit a confident and organised individual with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
Excellent communication and numeracy skills are essential as you will liaise with senior executives and partners on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
* Managing a small team of accounts professionals
* Knowledge of management accounting practices (UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS)
* Month end, quarter and year end reporting and procedures
* Managing cash flow, revenue, forecasts and budgets
* Experience with VAT and Corporation Tax compliance
* Preparation of financial statements and producing comprehensive performance reports for the board
* Liaising with external auditors and compiling audit paperwork
