Description
Experienced Supply Chain Manager with Aerospace Industry sector experience required to manage the UK supply chain across a number of key programs. You will be responsible for program schedules, tracking delivery and performance and addressing critical supply issues. Requires the ability to develop Supplier Improvement plans and establish KPI's to meet supplier performance targets.
Essential Skills: Requires a dedicated track record in Supply Chain Management, ideally with some Program Management experience. An Industry background in Aerospace (commercial or military) coupled with an understanding of contracting and procurement requirements is essential. You will also understand manufacturing production processes. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide technical solutions to complex supply issues.
Initially for 6 months, may extend. Start ASAP subject to the standard Industry checks required by this sector.
NB: The role is based in Yeovil, however, will require travel to a supplier in Manchester to work for 2 days per week in the early stages of the contract.
