A new 4 Month Contract opportunity is currently on offer for a Manager, Information Security Solutions, to join our Queensland Government Client based in Fortitude Valley.
The role of Manager, Information Security Solutions will see you lead and coordinate the implementation of security enhancement initiatives within the relevant Project and to provide specialist advice to ensure that the Clients Information Security Solutions meet requirements and that information resources and secured from threat while enabling the business to operate effectively.
Further to this, Manager, Information Security Solution will be required to undertake the following key responsibilities as below;
- Oversee and lead ICT technical implementations within a project management framework across multiple complex and diverse change programs and initiatives based on clients' business and technical requirements.
- Provide expert advice and analysis to the Program Director on the Information Security environment and determine the current maturity levels and future requirements of the organisation to develop solutions that meet the business and operational needs of the Organisation and its clients.
- Work closely with other Project, Operations and Architecture Office staff to manage collaborative relationships and consultations with senior stakeholders across the clients external technology vendors to develop, implement and integrate required changes to architecture, design and management of ICT infrastructure.
- Lead the continual development and improvement of technical designs and solution architectures and ensure strategic alignment to enterprise-wide business and ICT architectures within the organisation
- Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders with a customer service focus, to resolve issues relating to security concepts, technical concepts and ICT techniques and processes.
To be carefully considered for this opportunity, you will be required to demonstrated the following key technical experience, personal and professional attributes as below;
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of information security solutions, in a large, complex and geographically dispersed service delivery organisation.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise Firewall design and implementation.
- Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding of the major trends, strategic directions and legislative and governance frameworks related to information security, with the capacity to successfully adopt them in the healthcare environment.
- Highly developed research, analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to key issues affecting the enterprise.
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and maintain effective relationships with senior and multi-disciplinary staff at the organisational, state and national levels.
- Ability to work individually and within a high performance team with time critical and financially constrained tasks and complex deliverables.
