Next Ventures is urgently looking for a SAP Project manager for a role based in the Paris area
Responsibilities:
§ SAP Consultancy and IS coordination Project Manager for project.
§ To support the roll-out of SAP Finance Core European solution
§ To lead IS integration project with existing applications to allow the transition from current system to the new SAP environment.
§ To work closely with the different teams involved into the project; Business core team, 3rd parties providers, IS/IT departments, business key users.
§ Program management support to IS delivery managers:
o Support in project management tasks the IS project manager in place: create and maintain periodic dashboards with data from JIRA (integration test monitoring), Flash reports.
o Support coordination required in various IS work streams upon request.
o Minutes of key IS project streams meetings (weekly status meetings, internal operational meetings) and actions follow-up.
§ Program planning:
o Collect all planning related information for the several components of the program (SAP, projects and activities) in all phases of the program and amends program master schedules.
o Track progress and status against master schedules, share with Core team and request status to responsible of components.
o Communicate status report where needed to relevant stakeholders.
To achieve these requirements, the following services shall be performed:
Creates and maintains the detailed master schedule by stream.
Participates to the project meeting reviews and provides IS progress status reports (on a timely basis).
Monitors and tracks IS deliverables against project planning (design, build, test, cutover and roll-out).
Prepares, monitors and coordinates integration testing plan with all stakeholders. Creates and maintains Integration Testing status report, using JIRA tool.
Contributes to budget/costs follow-up and resource capacity plan.
Identifies risks, issues or scope changes and proposes countermeasures.
Provides regular and accurate reports to IS management and client management.
Skills required:
- SAP R/3 SD-MM with FI/CO integration, 10-12 years' experience.
- Extensive project/program management experience in complex and international context: planning, progress tracking, risk management, working with offshore development teams.
- Experience of industrial environments (manufacturing), .
- Experience in consulting of international projects (Europe).
- Fluent in English.
The background of the resource should include:
- Experience in SAP international core Project implementation
- Progress Planning, Reporting and Control techniques: methods and techniques for planning, monitoring and reporting progress of activities against plan
- Tools such as Clarity (Project Management) or JIRA
Start date: 1st September
Languages: English ( another language is beneficial)
Paris area and availability to travel to other EU locations when requested
Duration: 7 months
Rate: € per day
