Next Ventures is urgently looking for a WM Warehouse management consultant for a role based in the Paris area.
Scope:
Skills required:
5 years+ experience/expertise (preferably in WMS Manhattan or SAP.)
5 years+ experience in project management
Experience in projects integration on Warehouse, Sales and Distribution operations
Experience in consulting (international projects)
Fluent in English, Spanish is a big plus
Responsibilities:
The client expects the contractor to support the following activities
To participate to Kick Off preparation/Assist business Project Management
To lead design WMS design for IS:
o Challenge IS offer from integrator
o Build Internal knowledge
Coordinate with Legacy systems (Assess the transition from current system to the new environment & effort/data conversion
To track and address all risks and issues related to IS activities.
To lead workshops and meetings in order to support business processes development and integration with existing applications.
To work closely with the different teams involved into the project: Business core team and other key IS/IT users
To ensure proper planning and coordination of IS activities related to testing, cutover and roll-out (tracking activities against the plan, project progress measurement) project progress.
To provide IS progress status reports to the Project governance organization on a timely basis.
To provide and prepare project management documentation according to current client methodology APMM.
To lead the TO-BE solution for the client
To lead detailed system specifications as part of integration.
To lead the data migration strategy with regards to data quality.
To manage the objectives and tasks assigned to the IS/IT team.
To ensure the accuracy between project results and user needs, and guarantee the cross-functional coherence of the information system.
To communication on the project scope.
To participate to project meeting reviews and gives IS/IT status progress for the scope.
To identify risks, issues or scope changes and propose countermeasures.
To provide regular and accurate reports to IS management and client management as appropriate.
Start date: 1st September
Languages: English (another language is beneficial)
Location: North or West Paris with frequent travel to other EU destinations when required
Duration: 4 months
