Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Change Manager to work with our client on and initial 6 Month Contract. The right Candidate must have SC Clearance or willing to undergo the SC vetting process.
The role is responsible for leading the delivery of change to the in flight SIS II Service. The primary purpose will be to manage, coordinate and oversee the execution of change management processes to enable the joined up delivery of change across the business with UK and EU partner organisations.
SIS II (Schengen Information System Second Generation) is a European-wide IT system that helps facilitate European cooperation for law enforcement, immigration and border control purposes. This role is responsible for co-coordinating and managing evolving business change requirements with partner organisations. Law Enforcement Agencies in the UK now have access to SIS II Alerts via the Police National Computer (PNC) and can raise UK alerts that will be visible to other Member States. SIS II delivery takes place in a complex landscape, crossing multiple organisational boundaries.
To be successful with your application you will need the following essential experience.
*Experience of working in blended, multi-discipline, multi-vendor team environments
*Expertise in multiple project methodologies including Agile delivery, Waterfall and Agile at scale
*Experience of chairing meetings with remote participants
*Experience of acting as an interface between the encumbent IT Supplier and the End Users to ensure options are properly impact assessed.
*Ability to review and ratify core documentation and constructively challenge stakeholder input as appropriate
*Experience of managing project based financial & contractual processes
*Have proven ability to lead, manage and co-ordinate change through all major stages in accordance with structured change management process/procedures
*Experience of ITiL Service Management
*Experience of providing Programme and Project support for complex and diverse projects
*Ability to build effective and productive relationships with key partners (service mangers, partner organisations, suppliers and EU Partners)
*Ability and willingness to travel including overseas, if required, and at short notice.
*Experience of working with test teams to deliver strategies, scope and test plans
*Broad understanding the scope, impacts and benefits of effective change management.
*Experience of delivering successful outcomes for customers
*Some understanding of aspects of policing systems and the wider the Law enforcement landscape
*Experience of complex governance arrangements in either the public or private sector.
*Ability to work independently, be self motivated and organised, and adept at written and verbal communication skills
