Key Responsibilities:
All of the duties below will require efficient communication with multiple parties within the group as well as third parties:
- Establish a robust system for recording CSA/MSFTA (etc) data and relevant monitoring of collateral/margin implications.
- Ensuring systems/processes are robust to deal with a Derivative asset class
- Liaise with Custodians & Brokers to maintain an efficient collateral process
- Lead/have input to various operational projects (regulatory/efficiency driven)
- Develop system/process flows within the Operations department
- Fixed Income/Global Equity settlements
Experience and qualifications:
- Circa five years experience of investment operations at an asset manager or equivalent
- Knowledge of different asset types with a focus on derivatives
- Aware of EMIR margin reform and understands implications
- Project experience - leading/involvement
- System/Process flow knowledge
- Highly detail oriented
- Demonstrable strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- High level of numeracy
- Omgeo CTM/ALERT and Bloomberg AIMS experience desirable
