Description

Duties and Responsibilities
Introduce our teams to the latest innovative thinking and ideas from the broader Agile Community, leveraging Lean and Agile methods to achieve optimal effectiveness.
Develop and implement Agile standards and techniques, establish goals and lead teams to continuously achieve and improve.
Define metrics to track the adoption of Agile within the business and communicate any insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Create enterprise wide initiatives for internal training certification paths.
Identify enterprise wide issues and drives them to resolution.
Facilitate and influence senior leadership to drive culture change across the business.
Coaches senior leadership to recognise organisational impediments and implement strategies to remove any blockers.
Promote and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, trust and transparency across teams.
Contributes to the professional development and growth of Agile coaches and Scrum Masters.
Develops and facilitate training in addition to building successful communities of practice.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Generally requires a degree or equivalent experience.
>5 years of experience mentoring/coaching Agile practitioners with a successful track record of leading large-scale Agile software implementations.
>3 years of experience facilitating organisational and cultural change for Agile Transformations.
Has demonstrable experience of influencing organisational change in support of a multi-year strategy.
Engaging facilitator and presenter, capable of conducting workshops with large leadership teams (25+), please be prepared to demonstrate on a whiteboard.
Experience working with stakeholders in procurement and finance to help remove impediments that adversely impact product and service delivery flow in a highly regulated environment.
Understand how to coach and drive continuous improvement from the bottom up and the top down using the principle of mission command.

Specific Experience with Frameworks and Techniques
Candidates with demonstrated experience and successful outcomes will be considered as favourably as candidates with tools/processes--/frameworks. Experience with any of the following scaled frameworks and techniques or their direct equivalents would be regarded favourably and should be called out in your application.
Scaled Agile methodologies: Lean Enterprise, SaFE, LeSS, DaD and XSCALE.

1. Ability to influence people who are at different stages of change readiness.
2. Ability to influence C-level executives and stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.
3. A proven ability to implement techniques that streamline processes at the enterprise, portfolio and team levels.
4. A proven ability to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability trust and transparency.
5. Ability to work with and coach various (non-IT) departments including HR, procurement and finance.
6. Ability to measure and report upon transformation success.
7. Ability to strategically introduce change from within rather than a traditional top down transformation.
8. Ability to implement continuous improvement at enterprise, portfolio and team levels.
9. A team player with excellent communication, mentoring and presentation skills.
10. Willingness to accept ownership of tasks and work autonomously as required.
