Description

Title: Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager

Duration: 6months + probably will extend

Rate: $60-65/hr

Number of Positions: 1

Years of experience: 8+

Manager Notes:

  • Project is a windows upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, also upgrading to office 365 server base so we are looking for a candidates how has done this!
  • Experience/knowledge of Salesforce
  • Ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously
  • Drive analysis and communicate with all IT teams to get answers and resolve issues
  • Able to coordinate several projects
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Some technical knowledge and strong PM skills
  • Banking industry experience a plus

Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion based on the Project Manager direction

Lead and direct the work of others in a Matrix, cross-organizational project team

Manage and build client relationships with key decision makers from project inception to post-deployment while simultaneously ensuring customer satisfaction

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate project portfolio management software following the Project Manager guidelines

Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team

Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations in team meetings

Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and work with other department managers to obtain commitments on assignments

Adhere to Client's PMO strategy and standards

React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Banking/Financial Services experience
  • 10+ years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • 5+ years of direct work experience managing 3rd party vendors in software deployment and/or staff co-sourcing in support of functional department needs.
  • Advanced knowledge in systems and infrastructure integrations across different 3rd party applications
  • Advanced MS Office applications for reports, analysis, and presentations
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills with ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships
  • Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to confidently lead meetings
  • Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
