Next Ventures is urgently looking for a Warranty/SAP VMS consultant for a role based in the Paris area.

Scope:
Our client is currently embarked in the detailed analysis phase for global development of warranty application. The role of the IQMS WTY consultant will be to conduct assessment of the impact of the deployment of such program in the region.

Skills required:
5 years+ experience in SAP VMS and specially in SAP WTY (Warranty)
5 years+ experience in setting up Rules engine and BRF+
Strong Understanding of SAP SD (pricing) and MM (Master data, Service contracts)
Understanding of Integration to Finance modules FI/CO
Experience in projects integration on Manufacturing, Sales and Distribution operations
Experience in consulting of international projects (Europe and Asia)
Experience in one or more business domains: Aftersales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, finance, Sales and Marketing (including B2B and B2C)

Responsibility:
Strong project management skills
Clear and effective communication and reporting
Fluent in English language
Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to Business and IS teams
Ability to understand and follow technical standards, methods and compliance
Ability to lead teams which can consist of different vendors
Ability to monitor master and detailed schedule: providing IS progress status reports to the Project governance organization (on a timely basis).
Ability to take ownership of scope management and communicate impacts in/out of the scope in charge.
Ability to identify risks, issues or scope changes and propose countermeasures
To lead workshops and meetings aiming to capture detailed system specifications as part of integration and to lead to the GAP analysis between AS-IS and TO-BE solution for NE.
To ensure the accuracy between project results and user needs and guarantee the cross-functional coherence of the information system.
Planning and coordination of IS activities related to testing, cutover and roll-out
To manage and coordinate the objectives and tasks assigned to the IS/IT team
To lead the data migration strategy with regards to data quality improvement/insurance.
To follow costs, timescales and resources planned. Alert where these deviate from agreed tolerances
To ensure the accuracy between project results and user needs and guarantee the cross-functional coherence of the information system.
To ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
Minimum 3 years of experience managing business projects using a structured Waterfall and/or Agile methodology
Ability to manage offshore development teams
Business analysis
Ability to perform Business Analyst role when project circumstances dictate
Ability to perform Systems Solutions Design when project circumstances dictate
Ability to work with, and to, supplier service contracts
Oracle database competency
Java Development Toolset

Start date: 1st September
Languages: English (another language is beneficial)
Location: Paris with some travel to other EU destinations when required
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Negotiable per day
