Lynx Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector client in Berkshire who are currently running a large restructure across the company.
Due to the size of the restructure our client has requested the need for an interim planning accountant to join the team on an interim basis.
The main objective for the role is to provide robust, informed and accurate cost and benefit analysis to the restructure programme.
Other key responsibilities will include
- Develop a monthly programme board report which monitors implementation cost & benefits by phase with detailed variance analysis
- Work with finance colleagues to create and implement post-restructure budgets.
- Assist the programme in decision making and strategy to assist in achieving best value
- Develop a good working relationship with key stakeholders in order to become a critical member of the team whose opinion/assistance is sought on all financial matters.
