I am currently recruiting for experienced Supply Support Engineers for a high profile Defence client of mine based in Belgium.

Key details of the role are as follows:

Client:

The client is a world recognised Defence Company specialising in the provision and in service support of weapon systems for light and medium weight military land vehicles.

The client is seeking 2 Supply Support Engineers in order to grow the team due to the increase in projects and workload.

Rate: Up to €400 per day
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Belgium
Start date: ASAP

The Role:

Responsibilities for this position include:

*Implementation of Supply Support activities within budget and schedule constraints
*Preparing and coordinating IPPNs for inclusion and development of the IPL (Initial Provisioning List) deliveries
*Compilation from engineering source data, codification, development of Interim Spares Lists, Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL), and Supplementary Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD)
*Management of Codification data; data element reviews, extraction and transmission of data
*Spares Modelling activities, analysis of modelling results and providing output recommendations
*Delivery of contract spares, consumables, special packaging requirements, etc.
*Liaising with the ILSM/LSA Engineers, subcontractors, Prime Contractor, Product Support, Operations and Procurement to ensure effective implementation of Supply Support solution and activities.
*Identifying active or potential supply problems with mitigations
*Coordinating and supervising the activities of Subcontractor(s) engaged in identification and provisioning of Supply Support data
*Developing appropriate procedures for implementing the Supply Support Program.
*Conducting use studies and planning an effective supply chain to support operational demands.
*Providing guidance and advice related to Supply Support matter,
*Assuring the appropriate quality and compliance of deliverables
*Ensuring Min-Max/Buffer/Spare stock levels are maintained throughout the Program Life Cycle
*Monitoring of Life Limited materials
*Other duties as assigned by the ILS Manager

Candidate(s) must be able to:

*Clear understanding of all Logistic Engineering standards, policies, procedures, tools and processes.
*Sound understanding of Spares modelling & Supply Chain Management (ideally OPUS10 Suite 2014)
*Fundamental understanding of the other company departments including Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, Procurement, Quality, Configuration Management, Product Support, SAP, etc. and their interrelation and impact on the assigned Program.
*Ability to coordination with both internal and external program stakeholders (Design Office, Prime, End Client) including support to program reviews.
*Capable of working both independently and directing a small ILS team.
*Occasional international travel can be expected

Required Work Experience:

Ideal candidate should have:

*Experience using ILS Military Standards [North American/European]
*A confident communicator both proficient written and oral skills
*Good understanding of modelling techniques (ideally OPUS10 Suite 2014)
*Experience in the defence industry would be considered advantageous.
*Proficient in MS Office (2007) applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc..
