A client of ours in Brussels is looking to hire a solutions architect to lead their strategy, architecture and implementation of new strategic capabilities.
They want a leader to provide deep technical understanding and guidance. The business is truly global and you will be working with colleagues from around the world.
The client is going through a large Business intelligence and data warehouse project.
Responsibilities:
- Provide global solutions to customers.
- Lead architectural design and dev solutions including data warehousing and BI.
- partner with other IT decision makers to access design needs and come up with a solution.
- point of contact for dev team to clarify solution needs and provide strategic direction.
- Leading the technology choices of the business alongside other architects
- propose design changes
Experience:
- SOA experience
- Masters in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive experience leading design, dev, deployment and support of Business Intelligence applications.
- Middle ware experience
- Database experience - NOSQL/MongoDB
- Datamodelling principles
- data warehouse (Kimball,inmon)
- Architectural modelling - TOGAF
- CI/CD
- Agile development methodologies
- Informatica (an advantage)
- Web systems
