Mid-Level/Junior Buyer - IT Contractors/Agency staff, Procurement, Bank, Brussels
Background:
You will join the bank's Procurement Department. The objective is to manage contracts within IT Contractors (staffing) with internal clients and external IT recruitment agencies/consultancies to cover job descriptions, new contracts, extensions etc.
Tasks:
Manage contracts and sourcing in various spend categories through a network of suppliers in order to ensure that business objectives are met.
Support the category managers and your peers in the selection of suppliers, the tendering process, the correspondence and the supplier administration.
Maintain good relations with internal customers (within Procurement and within the Bank) and suppliers.
Contribute actively in building a high performing professional procurement department that really acts as a team across all categories and disciplines.
Collaborate with other category customers and the entire procurement team to create an integrated procurement process and organization interface.
Initiate ideas to improve overall working of category and procurement processes.
Skills:
3 years experience in IT Purchasing/HR/Staffing/Contracting/Consulting or similar domain;
Applications from Recruitment Consultants/HR/Payroll who have worked at IT agencies previously are welcome. Strong negotiation skills;
Understanding of contract and basic legal terminology.
Language: English (essential) plus French or Dutch (not essential but nice to have)
