Liverpool

6 MONTH CONTRACT

Our high profile Banking client currently has an opportunity for a Compliance Monitoring Officer within a operational environment to work in the offices based in Liverpool.

Overview:

The successful candidate will manage compliance efforts for the Company as they relate to moderately complex regulatory and policy requirements. Key part of the role will be to review various departments on there processes and compliance to help the business hit key regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Analyze existing and proposed legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices, and helps businesses develop and implement procedures to meet these requirements.

Validate control processes to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations

Assists business unit managers in response to reports issued by regulatory agencies or audit

Key skills:

Relevant experience working in financial services

Good knowledge of the rules & regulations of FCA and ability to analyse legislation relating to other jurisdictions

General awareness of company law and the Financial Services & Markets Act and

Ability to analyse existing & proposed legislation to determine impact on the firm and recommend appropriate response

Strong communication skills

Strong administrative skills

Database skills would be great- Excel spreadsheet good data skills would be good
