Finance Business Partner
The Role
The Finance Business Partner will be based with a leading financial services company in Cardiff on an initial contract length of 12 months. Although the initial contract is for 12 months, the contract has a very high potential to go long past the initial contract on offer. The initial day rate on offer is between £350-£400/day.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join the Finance team supporting a large Integration Programme.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role are:
- Liaising with Project Managers to confirm project impacts/cost forecast and support month-end activity such as accruals and journals.
- Delivering and presenting month-end reporting packs for various stakeholders and with inclusion of relevant commentary and analysis.
- Supporting production of relevant forecasting models and providing appropriate levels of insight and analysis.
- Supporting the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and other Financial Control requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and divisions.
Essential Experience/Knowledge:
- Qualified finance professional with a proven track record gained in an environment with significant change.
- Understanding and experience of key Finance systems (SAP experience preferable) and processes for investment cost reporting
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
