COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (S48)
WEALTH MANAGEMENT/FINANCIAL SERVICES

FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.

FinXL are looking to engage a Take to Market (Communications) Manager for business and consulting services for our high-profile Financial Services/Wealth Management clients

The role with work closely with business stakeholders and the Change Management team, to deliver high-quality, creative communications for adviser and employer communications. The role will also require working closely with various business unit Marketing teams, as well as other functions in other Wealth Management projects, to align approach and key messaging, where it makes sense.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with the project Change Manager and Project Manager to develop the Take to Market strategy and Communication Plan. Responsibility to include business stakeholder review and approval of the strategy, as well as both internal and external communications plan.
  • Develop and deliver external communications and collateral, this may include:
    o Take to Market plans
    o Marketing communications eg emails and online notices, adviser and employer communications
    o Marketing flyers and brochures where required
    o Online tools (ie Dashboards)
    o Webinars
  • Ensure all materials produced are aligned to and reflect the Wealth brand, language and key messages.
  • Undertake Quality Assurance across all relevant collateral, prior to distribution to the broader project and/or business stakeholders.
  • Manage the end-to-end business reviews and sign-offs for marketing communications collateral
  • Utilise existing customer and adviser feedback mechanisms to test key messaging, as well as to support the delivery of key success measures
  • Conduct a regular Take to Market readiness forum with key business stakeholders to track progress, as well as identifying and mitigating issues as they arise.

Skills and Experience required:

  • 5 years + communications role experience (writing editing) required
  • Proven writing and editing experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience of publications process (copywriting through to printing of final design)
  • Solid proofing skills
  • Outstanding copywriting and editing skills
  • Demonstrated stakeholder managements skills - sound negotiation/influencing skills
  • Sound knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Understanding of legal and compliance obligations within the group
  • Experience writing for web delivery
  • Time management and Multi-tasking
