Overall Equipment Effectiveness Engineer

A Overall Equipment Effectiveness Engineer with Continuos improvment experience is required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Cheshire

This is a new role on a ongoing defence project based near Crewe.

Key skills required for the Overall Equipment Effectiveness Engineer

  • Ability to coach and support all operators and technicians working on OEE/continuous improvement activities.
  • Measure and analyse performance data with the target of identifying initiatives that will improve systems or equipment performance.
  • Candidates will have a proven track record in high volume manufacturing engineering and have a good working knowledge of manufacturing process control, OEE/continuous improvements, problem solving techniques, quality control systems, elimination of waste, OEE, poka-yoke, standardisation, benchmarking, kaizen, and visualisation standards within a large organisation.
  • Ability to implement projects that have delivered benefits on cost, quality, delivery, safety.

The role is based in Cheshire - commutable from Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Whitchurch, Market Drayton, Stone, Kidsgrove, Congleton, Macclesfield, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Liverpool, Northwich, Knutsford, Chester and Wrexham with excellent access from Birmingham
