Our client is one of the world's leading and most respected Asset and Investment Management organisation's. An opportunity has arisen within Marketing and financial promotions. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist financial promotions sign-off at professional and/or end investor level, using knowledge of Applicable regulatory requirements in EMEA, in particular, CA Financial Promotions Regulations, Treating Customers Fairly and COBS 4.
THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will report functionally to the EMEA Head of Compliance Advisory for Fixed Income, Solutions & Distribution and will form part of an existing team of compliance professionals responsible for coordinating and approving marketing documentation across a much wider team of qualified approvers within our advisory team. The focus of this role will be on professional material, retail material and cross border distribution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting with the relationship management between Compliance Advisory and EMEA Retail and Advertising and Media departments.
- Financial promotions sign off at professional and/or end investor level
- Advising sales team on cross-border marketing rules and local regulations in EMEA
- Contributing to our evolving application of FCA rules in the context of digital marketing and social media.
- Assisting with training surgeries for other Compliance staff on financial promotions and our marketing procedures to ensure consistent standards are applied by all our qualified approvers.
