My Client are looking for a Cash Forecasting and Reporting Analyst for a contract role based in Milton Keynes.
The role will co-ordinate, analyse and validate the Corporate view of our Balance Sheet, Statutory cashflow and Direct cash position, responsible for the planning and supervision of the cash forecasting cycle, management reporting and analysis.Cashflow is an area of high focus and this role plays a significant part in influencing decisions involving cashflow.
For the Balance Sheet, the role will deliver the financial plans, budgets, forecast, strategic plan and reporting - ensuring that this is co-ordinated and that people from across Commercial and Trading Finance are aware of what to deliver and when.The role will work to improve the understanding of our Balance Sheet & the processes and controls surrounding it - working with a wide array of finance & non finance personnel to ensure best practice and strong controls.
You Must Have/Be:
- Graduate calibre, qualified accountant - minimum 1 year PQE.
- Experience of cash forecasting is not essential, but a working understanding is required.
- Commercial experience, where relevant, is required (being able to understand the implications on the business of its Cashflow).
- Must be a self-starter with the initiative and drive to take Cashflow forward and to pre-empt questions or flag risks/opportunities.
- Ability to communicate well across finance and the business users (financial and non-financial).
- Should be a team player, getting involved in non-Cash related activities, seeking to build relationships within Business Planning and the wider finance community.
- Ability to co-ordinate information from multiple data sources and individuals whilst maintaining consistency.
- Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Systems experience and aptitude.
- Must be an intermediate Excel user as a minimum and comfortable with modelling and possess clear presentation skills (being able to logically layout data for presenting).
- Experience in the preparation of presentations would be an advantage.
